How to install a Drivekey

To install the DriveKey Modchip in your Wii, you will first need to follow our Guide to dissassemble the Wii.
You will also need:
Once your Wii is apart and the dvd drive is removed, grab your DriveKey modchip.
Cover the back of the chip in electrical tape.
Check the dip switches on the DriveKey and configure them to your region.
The ribbon cable that goes to your Wii console should be connected to the plug labelled 'Wii'.
The ribbon cable that comes with the DriveKey should be connected to the plug labelled 'DVD'.

The other end of the ribbon should be connected to the Wii DVD Drive.
Position the DriveKey modchip on the metal of the Wii console.
Place it so none of the ribbon cables will be damaged when the console is re-assembled and stick it down with electrical tape.
Make sure you use enough to completely cover the DriveKey modchip.
Thats it.
